Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the fourth video game in the Stalker series, is finally here, and with it comes a terrifying new chapter in the saga.Stalker 2is set in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, a dangerous area contaminated by radiation and filled with deadly anomalies.
Those whopreorderedStalker 2before its June 24, 2025, release, or grabbed the Deluxe or Ultimate editions are in for a treat. These special editions come packed with unique weapon skins, special suits, and even a bonus side quest. However, before you’re able to claim your preorder bonuses and special edition rewards inStalker 2, you’ll need to put in some work.
How To Claim Pre-Order Bonuses in Stalker 2
If you preorderStalker 2, you’ll get access to the exclusive “Early Bird” preorder bonuses, but these bonus items aren’t handed to you right away. Instead, you’ll first need to complete theSeek, and You Shall Findside quest.
To unlock Seek, and You Shall Find, you need to progress through the main story and complete theA Needle in a Haystackquest in Zalissya. After completing thismission inStalker 2, you’ll get a hint to check your Private Stash.
Inside it, you will find theJournalist’s USBwhich helps you findJournalist’sStashesscattered across the map.Each stash contains one bonus item. This can be either the preorder bonuses or the Deluxe/Ultimate Edition rewards.
Journalist’s Stashes will be marked on your map by an icon of three small triangles. If you try to find the Journalist Stashes before unlocking the Seek, and You Shall Find mission, even though they’re marked on your map, they won’t appear.
