FortniteRemix is shaping up to be a pretty great season, catapulting players into a revamped version of the Chapter 2 island. This season features blasts from the past, including unvaulted OG weapons like the Assault Rifle and Tactical Shotgun, along with familiar bosses to face,such as Dynamo TNTina. However, returning content is not the only thing that players will discover in this nostalgic season.
Each week ofFortniteRemix introduces a revamped version of a POI that originally debuted back in Chapter 2, this time taken over by one of several artists. While Week 2 saw the arrival of the Spaghetti Grotto, whereEminem wields his Mythic Minigun, players diving into Week 3 can expect to take on Ice Spice, who wields aMythic Assault Rifle and Grappler.
How To Get Ice Spice’s Mythics
To get both Ice Spice’s Rifle and Grappler, players will need todefeat Ice Spice. Ice Spice is anNPC boss located on Ice Isle, formerly known as The Shark, in the northwest region of theFortniteisland. Her location is marked as a skull on the map, giving players a way to track her if they decide to land there and take her on.
While Ice Spice herself isn’t particularly difficult to take down, the added pressure of dealing with henchmen in the area and other players can make the encounter tricky. Players' best bet for acquiring Ice Spice’s Mythics is todrop straight onto a weapon or chestat Ice Isle at the start of the game, before making a beeline to Ice Spice’s location.
Once players defeat Ice Spice, she willdrop both her Mythic Rifle and Grappler, along withhealing items like a Shield Potion. She will also join the player’s squad, similar to a hired NPC, and make all henchmen in the area passive toward all squad members.
How To Open The Ice Isle Vault
On top of dropping her Mythics, Ice Spice will alsodrop the Shark Keycardupon being eliminated. This keycard can be used toopen the Ice Isle Vault, with its location displayed onscreen once players have the Shark Keycard equipped. Opening the Ice Isle Vault willreward players with four Ghost Chests, making it an excellent spot to get some high-rarity loot.
How To Use Ice Spice’s Mythics
Ice Spice’s Rifle
Ice Spice’s Rifle is a Mythic version of the regular Assault Rifle,delivering increased damage along with a faster fire rate. Additionally, Ice Spice’s Rifle has a unique perk: itapplies the Pepper effect with each shot, boosting the player’s movement speed. Here is a quick breakdown of the stats for Ice Spice’s Rifle:

Ice Spice’s Grappler
Unlike her Assault Rifle, Ice Spice’s Grappler is primarily a mobility item, functioning just likea regular Grappler but with unlimited uses.Ice Spice’s Grappler alsogives players the Ice Feet effect upon each use, providing even more mobility when used on slopes or going downhill. However, players wielding the Ice Spice Grappler should be cautious when using it at height, as the Ice Feet effect could cause them to risk falling.
