FortniteSeason 1 OG has made its grand debut, transporting players back to the Chapter 1 island where it all began. Players jumping into this mode will embark on a nostalgic journey, exploring iconic POIs and wieldingclassic weapons like the Pump Shotgun.But the excitement doesn’t stop there, asFortniteand Discord have teamed up to offer players a special limited-time reward for their Discord profiles.
Fortniteand Discord have a history of collaborations, with players previously being able toearn the Rift Butterfly Avatar DecorationforFortniteRemix. This time, players can showcase their bush camping skills byunlocking the Bush Camper Avatarthrough auniqueFortniteOG Discord Quest.
How To Accept The Fortnite OG Discord Quest
Accepting theFortniteOG Quest can be done the same way as pretty much any Discord Quest. Upon loading up Discord on desktop, players may begreeted with the quest just above their profilein the bottom left corner of the screen. If this is the case, they can simply hit “Accept Quest” from here. If the quest does not appear, however, Discord users can do the following:
Console players must ensure they are appearing online for the quest to track. Discord Quests also cannot be accepted on mobile.
How To Claim The Bush Camper Avatar Decoration
Once players have claimed theFortniteOG Quest, all that’s left is to simplyplayFortniteOG for 15 minutes to unlock the Bush Camper Avatar Decoration.Although the quest specifiesFortniteOG, any mode will count toward progress, meaning that players diving into Chapter 6 or even Creative can still earn the reward with minimal effort. Simply having the game running for 15 minutes will also work, allowing players to get the reward without actively playing.
After players have logged 15 minutes of playtime inFortnite, the Bush Camper Avatar Decoration will be available. To claim it, Discord users canreturn to theFortniteOG Quest in Discord and select “Claim Reward”.Discord will then prompt the user to use the Avatar Decoration. Players canactivate it immediately by selecting “Use Now”.
TheFortniteOG Quest can beaccepted via Discord until December 11, after which it will no longer be available. Players who earn the Bush Camper Avatar Decoration will also only be able touse it for two monthsbefore it inevitably moves to the Discord Shop.
