There’s a variety of offensive spells players can use inEnshrouded, and if you’re looking for something that’s simple but reliable, then the classic Fireball spell is for you. It fires an explosive projectile that deals great damage over a respectable area, making it an awesome tool for fighting big groups.
However, constantly craftingstaff charges inEnshroudedis going to be a pain, and if you don’t want to bother with collecting resources for regular Fireball, then the Eternal Fireball spell is your best alternative. Here’s how to get it.
How to Craft the Eternal Fireball Spell in Enshrouded
The Eternal Fireball is crafted directly from the Alchemist, but before you can make it, you need tomeet a couple of conditions. First, you’ll need tounlock the Alchemy Stationfor the Alchemist, which can be done by completing theBlack Cauldron for the Alchemist quest. This quest takes place in the Nomad Highlands, the same region where you getFossilized Bones inEnshrouded.
Second, you’ll need to be able to find and/or make the following:
These are the ingredients you need to make the Eternal Fireball spell. Once you place an Alchemy Station and get a few Bronze Bars in your inventory, you should be able to unlock the recipe itself at the Alchemist’s crafting menu.
You don’t necessarily need to complete the Black Cauldron quest. As long as you have Bronze Bars and an Alchemy Station at your base, you should be able to make the Eternal Fireball spell even without doing the quest at the Nomad Highlands.
What Does Eternal Fireball Do?
Eternal Fireball is much like the regular Fireball spells, exceptthis one doesn’t use any Spell/Staff Charges. That means you can use Eternal Fireball without having to worry about finding or crafting your next batch of uses. Eternal Fireball will never run out, and the only way to lose it is to either die or purposefully remove it from your inventory.
Compared to regular, crafted Fireballs, the Eternal version hits slightly harder (76 damage), but it also uses more mana and takes a while longer to cast. It’s a fair trade-off considering the sheer amount of resources you can save, and players usingMage builds inEnshroudedare advised to get as many Eternal spells as they can so they can adapt to the elemental weaknesses and resistances of enemies.
Fire damage is effective against beasts and Fell monsters you often see inside enshrouded areas. Scavengers are resistant to it, however, so you’ll have to use other types of elemental damage against them if you want to be efficient.
