In addition to the main story quests, there are numerous secrets to uncover and mysteries to solve inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle. One such mystery is a quest called ‘A Free Spirit,‘which involves tracking down a missing cat called the Sinor Smushki. While it’s probably not going to make the title of any grand Indiana Jones adventure, finding the elusive cat can be an enjoyable, unique quest to do while familiarizing yourself with the twists and turns of the Vatican City.
Picking up and completing ‘A Free Spirit’ also helps you get more Adventure Points, which can be used to unlock more skills for Indy via Adventure Books. In addition to finding the missing cat, it’s also possible to find other cat locations during the quest, enabling you to accumulate more points.

How To Start A Free Spirit
To start ‘A Free Spirit’ inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, you must pick up theMystery Noteof amissing cat flyeron thenoticeboardopposite the Tower of Nicholas V, the circular building on the map as pictured above. Although the flyer written by Father Bianchi says the cat was last seen scaling the Tower of Nicholas V, you won’t find the cat inside the Tower, but it will be in an area close by.
Additionally, you’ll need toget the camera from Ernestoto complete the quest, which involves searching for and taking a photo of the missing cat.
Missing Cat Location
To find the location of the missing cat, head to theVia Di Beldevereon the map, just past the alley with the truck by the Beldevere Courtyard. On your left, you should see an iron gate that leads to a garden filled with workers doing various jobs, as pictured above.
Inside the garden, there is also a climbable scaffold structure on the right. Use the ladders to climb up the scaffolding to reach the roof at the top,keeping tabs on your stamina levelswhile climbing and stopping for a break when necessary.
While there are other cat locations around the city, you can photograph a brown cat at the top of the scaffold. Of course, it’s not Sinor Smushki, as it’s ablack catyou want. However, you cancross the roof nearbyto find the missing cat perched on a nearby rooftop, as pictured above. Use your camera to take a photo of Sinor Smushki.
The final objective in ‘A Free Spirit’ is topin the photographonto the missing cat poster on the noticeboard where you picked up the quest. You can interact with the poster to pin the photo to it, completing the quest and giving you100 Adventure Pointsas a reward.
Taking pictures of other cats you encounter is entirely optional and gives you some extra Adventure Points, as the only photo you need is of Sinor Smushki to complete the quest.
After completing the quest, there are plenty of other mysteries to uncover and puzzles to solve in the city and elsewhere, with some being trickier than others depending on your chosenpuzzle difficulty settings forIndiana Jones and the Great Circle.
