How To Beat Serial Killer Vinca In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Basilio is a required party member, but he’ll still be incredibly useful as long as you have the War Cry skill which is unlocked with his base Archetype. Have the Prince Archetype on the protagonist along withJunah and Eupha due to their high Magic stat. Also use Skill Inheritance topass along Ren Patrato anyone in your party, as Vinca is keen on inflicting Daze on your whole party.
Vinca only has a few moves at his disposal, focusing on dealing physical damage to individuals or the whole party. He’ll also use Earsplitting Shriek to possibly inflict Daze on each party member, with this being the biggest threat he has. UseBasilio’s War Cryto lower his attack and defense a total of three timesto get him fully debuffed. You can also bring Tetrakarn as all his attacks are physical and he’ll eventually hit the barrier to end his turn.
Start the battle with Hero’s Cry from the Protagonist to get off at least two War Crys from Basilio before starting tospam Royal Slash from the Protagonistfor constantly high damage. If you have any attack buffs to put on him it will help make the fight go by faster, and don’t worry about his damage output once it’sdebuffed three times. Vinca won’t be able to get rid of debuffs so those will stay as long as you occasionally cast War Cry again to restart the timer.
Have Junah and Eupha use their strongest magic attacks to further stack on the damage. TheHellfire Dancefrom the Masked Dancerfollowed up by Summon Dragon Godwill not only deal a ton of damage but also give you an additional Press Turn icon when needed.
