A special video gave fans their first glimpse at the cast of characters set to arrive following the launch of Amphoreus, showing off new cast members like Castorice and Cyrene among others. HoYoverse also hinted at several bits of lore surrounding the planet, teasing the backstory of the world and some of the plot points the crew of the Astral Express will encounter. A recent leak now suggests the game’s newest characters won’t be easy to obtain.
Honkai: Star Rail Leaks New Character Rarities
A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Shiroha is revealing therarities of all the initial reveals from Amphoreus' playable cast. According to Shiroha, each character with an illustration featured as part of theHonkai: Star Railvideo will release asfive-star characters withinHonkai: Star Rail. The leak does not confirm whether any new four-star characters are planned for Amphoreus, with the initial roster expected to be all five-star units.Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.0 is currently expected to launch on January 15.
The lineup of new characters comes as HoYoverse has already seen plenty of exciting roster additions throughout the game’s recent updates. The launch of Version 2.7 will bring two of the game’s most highly-anticipated characters, with both Sunday and Fugue releasing as playable characters during the patch. Recent leaks have also heavily hinted at the next version of the Trailblazer expected to release following the launch of Amphoreus, said to be joining the game as one ofStar Rail’s first Remembrance characters.
