There’s still no official news about March 7th potentially getting a 5-star form, but arecent leak from Dimbreathmight fuel more speculation. According to the leaker,Honkai: Star RailVersion 3.0 might introduce a “Dark March,” which is said to be a different version of March 7th with a memosprite. This would mean a couple of things: March 7th could get an evil alter ego in Version 3.0 and that she will follow the Path of Remembrance because of the memosprite mention, which is essentially thecompanion summon that Remembrance characters will have.
March 7th’s Rumored New Form Explained
In the comments, manyHonkai: Star Railfans expressed their excitement about playing “evil March” and wondered how this form would be different from her current form. However, Ubatcha, who is also a prominent leaker,clarified that Dark March is just a descriptorand doesn’t necessarily mean that she will become evil during the Amphoreus story. It is possible that “Dark” could pertain to the new form’s design being different from her current brightly-colored design. Ubatcha also noted that they’re still uncertain if thisnew March 7th form will be her 5-star form, if everHonkail: Star Raildoes launch her in Version 3.0.
March 7th is one of the characters who still has a murky past because she doesn’t remember anything from before the Astral Express found her frozen and floating in space. There have been speculations that March could be related to the Path of Remembrance because of her affinity to ice, just like the Aeon, Fuli the Remembrance. It is possible that theAmphoreus story inHonkai: Star RailVersion 3.0could shed some light onto the character’s past, but fans will have to wait until it comes out next year to find out.
