A new leak from the game’s next world is now giving treasure-hunting players an idea of what to expect from Amphoreus.
Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Amphoreus Chests
A new update shared byHonkai: Star Railleaker KazusaLeaks is teasing the total number ofchests found in each of Amphoreus' initial areas. According to the leak, “Eternal Holy City” Okhema will boast the highest chest count of the launch areas forStar Rail’s newest world, with a total of 50 chests to find throughout the map. “Bloodbathed Battlefront” and “Strife Ruins” will also both feature sizable chest counts with 41 and 40, respectively. The fewest quantity of chests in Amphoreus will be in the “Vortex of Genesis” with just two chests found in the Amphoreus locale.
The sizable quantity of chests found throughout Amphoreus' initial areas will look to provide players with plenty of gacha currency for the game’s newest characters. HoYoverse has already revealed The Herta and Aglaea as Version 3.0’s featured five-star characters, introducing a new Path to the game with the addition of Remembrance. Early leaks have also begun to hint atHonkai: Star Rail’s future patchesas well, with Tribbie and Mydei expected to release during Version 3.1 and Castorice and Anaxa in Version 3.2. Amphoreus will launch withHonkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.0 on January 14.

Version 2.7 welcomed two of the game’s most highly-anticipated characters to the game with the launch of Sunday and Fugue. HoYoverse also gave fans a special reward with the update, introducing a selector allowing fans to choose one member ofHonkai: Star Rail’s standard five-star roster for free. With the Astral Express' time on Penacony coming to an end, fans should have plenty to look forward to with Amphoreus' debut.
