Additionally, there are a number of leaks that reported on the new Amphoreus characters' rumored abilities.Leaker Uncle Guoba reportsthat Tribbie is a support character that can allegedly provide defense buffs to allies. Mydei, who might be aDestruction character like Blade, allegedly consumes his HP for his attacks and abilities, while Castorice is said to wield a scythe as a weapon.
Based on their official descriptions, the new Amphoreus characters are inspired by certain Greek gods and deities. Tribbie, for example, is a messenger like Hermes; Mydei is hinted to be a warrior like Ares or the deity Deimos, the son of Ares and Aphrodite; and Castorice is in charge of the River of Souls (Styx) like Charon. Meanwhile, Anaxa, who is a scholar that inquires about prophecy, is named after the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras.
