But undoubtedly one of the most plausible pieces of speculation wasGTA 6’s moon theory, which was recently debunked after it pointed toward a November 22 announcement for the game’s second trailer. The date has now been and gone, with not a shred of newGrand Theft Auto 6news in sight. But that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating on a new date for the sequel’s second trailer.
GTA 6 Fans Conjure Up New Trailer 2 Release Date Theory
Over on Reddit, user Notorious_Frog_2 has conjured up afresh theory forGrand Theft Auto 6’s second trailer. In a now-deleted post (which was sharedon Twitter by TGG), the user speculates that the game’s second trailer will be released on December 3rd. The reason for this is due to the upcoming release of a newGrand Theft Auto Onlineupdate, which doesn’t have an official release date as of yet, but it is heavily speculated to be released on December 10. The user says that the trailer date “is simpler” than most people think, pointing to the release date ofGrand Theft Auto 6’s first trailer, which was one week beforeGrand Theft Auto Online’s December 2023 update.
As always, this is simply a theory and Rockstar itself has given no indication as to when a second trailer could be released. However, there’s no denying that releasing a new trailer a week beforea newGrand Theft Auto Onlineupdatewould be a smart business move as there’s a strong chance it would drive players toGTA 5’s online component as the community patiently waits forGrand Theft Auto 6’s release.
Grand Theft Auto 6is currently scheduled to release in Fall 2025, but the lack of news from Rockstar has fans concerned that a delay could be on the horizon. Back in September, a rumor began circulating thatGrand Theft Auto 6had been delayed internally. The news sent fans into a wild frenzy but was eventually shut down by journalist Jason Schreier, who spoke to six members of Rockstar Games who revealed that they were unaware of any delay. The studio itself would further debunk these claims by reaffirming the game’s Fall 2025 release during an investor’s call, but with almost a full year of no substantial news, fans are becoming increasingly concerned.
