Twitter user Besk posted a list of changes that were not mentioned in the latestGrand Theft Auto Trilogyupdate, which includes the ability to run around with severalweapons fromGrand Theft Auto. The mobile ports and the classic versions did not have these features, which makes theTrilogyversions unique. It was not mentioned why this feature was introduced specifically in this version, but it’s a change that fans agree with. However, one user asked why this feature wasn’t included in the newSan Andreas. Another user replied thatSan Andreasutilizes different shooting mechanics than the other two titles.
What Other Changes Were Introduced in the Latest Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Update?
While many would say that the ability to run and shoot could be the biggest update that the developers could introduce, Besk actually discovered more changes that were left unlisted. Apart from fixingGTA Trilogy’s game-breaking bugs, the visuals and animations were improved. Some of these items include an adjustment to CJ’s soda drinking animation, the addition of various details to the map graphics, and the ability to pause during cutscenes in all three games, among others. A glitch that allowed players to skip to other islands early on has also been patched out, ensuring that these areas are only available once certain progress is achieved.
Besk also shared that Rockstar might have a new team dealing with the bugs and glitches. It’s interesting to note that one visual change found by various members of the community is that some of Grove Street Games logos are missing on a few screens.Grove Street Games has been in charge of theGTA TrilogyDefinitive Editionsince its announcement, so some players were surprised to hear this news. However, Besk clarifies that Grove Street Games were the ones who introduced the hundreds of fixes included in the latest patch, and that the team was never removed from the actual credits.
