As Natlan expands andGenshin Impactplayers are introduced to the new regions, they will alsounlock more lore into Natlan’s past and the tragedies that took place. One such area is Ochkanatlan, and, though it is quite a gloomy area to traverse, it is also a place forGenshin Impactplayers to pick up some much-needed materials.
Characters like Chasca from the Flower-Feather Clan triberequire a Natlan local specialtythat can be found only in Ochkanatlan. TheWithering Pupurbloomis a product of the devastation of the land, and players can collect around 80 of them for any character ascension. This guide will cover all the best possible farming routes to obtain them all.
Ochkanatlan (South) - Withering Pupurbloom Locations
Once the area has been unlocked, players will need to start from thesouthernmost teleportation waypointin Ochkanatlan. This is basically theentrance to the ruined city,and if you head straight down the path in front of you, players will be able to collect three Withering Purpurblooms. From there, turn left and glide off the rock toward the rock formation in front of you.
You may need toindwell a Qucusaurhere for easier access, or simply use a Natlan character like Kinich or Ororon.
Run down the strip of the rock you are currently on and collect all three flowers there. Next, look to your right and glide to the next rock formation. This one will be slightly lower and easier to reach. There will be three more flowers to collect here.
From the previous point,teleport to the Statue of Seven,and if you head out and run around the Statue, you’ll be able to collect two flowers. Then, headsouth on the maptoward the rock formation, and you’re able to collect three Withering Purpurblooms there.
Ochkanatlan (Central) - Withering Purpurbloom Locations
This set of flowers is a little tricky to collect, as most of them are scattered on the ruins platform and beneath,at the bottom of the cliffs. You can first start your route at the Statue of Seven and head across, toward the ruins in front of you. The first couple of flowers will be easy to collect as the further you go in, the more flowers will be blooming at the edge of each bridge.
From there, you’re able to either continue upward to your left or simply teleport to the waypoint that is to theeast of the map. If you head out the room and turn left, you’ll be able to collect a few Withering Purpurblooms there. Next, since the top part of the ruins is complete, you’ll need to flyall the way down to the bottom of the cliffsand find the rest of the flowers. These are pretty easy to locate since most of them are growing near the base of the mountain or near the shoreline. Players can collect around eight here if they keep moving east.
This next batch is underground and can only beunlocked fully after completing the Lost Traveler in the Ashen Realm and Open Your Heart To Me quest. There will be an underground waypoint that players can use to reach the flowers. However, if that has not been opened, teleport to the waypointwest of the central ruins(this is the waypoint that is inside the room with a wooden alpaca), and then head further inside to your left. You’ll see a hole that you need to fall into, and at the very bottom is where you’ll find some Withering Purpurblooms for collection.
Ochkanatlan (North) - Withering Purpurbloom Locations
Once you’re done with the central part of the island, headnorthwestto the first waypoint you see. If you turn around, there will be some flowers right behind you. From there, head to the waypointsouthof the ruins and then follow the path in front of you. There will be some flowers to collect along the way. Head further inpast all the Ruin Guardsand keep an eye out since there will be more flowers blooming here and there. Then, go down the stairs in front of you and headbehind the secret source automatonto find three Withering Purpurblooms to collect.
Teleport back to the same waypoint you used before, head straight to the corner of the pathway, and then jump off the ledge. You need to goall the way down to the bottom of the cliffto find the rest of the Withering Purpurblooms. Collect the first two, then head up the stairs to your right to collect the rest.
Teleportback to the same waypoint once againand turn around to glide off the ledge. Keep flying straight past all the debris until you reach that shoulder edge on the map. From there, drop all the way down, and you’ll be able to find three flowers for collection.
Ochkanatlan Individual Islands - Withering Purpurbloom Locations
Isle Of Tozoz
The Isle of Tozoz is on thenortheastern part of the map,and it has a couple of Withering Purpurblooms for collection. You can just run around the area to collect them.
Unnamed Island (East)
There is an Unnamed Island on the southeastern part of the map, and players can reach it by using the indicated teleport waypoint above. You’ll also need toindwell a Qucusaurto fly across and unlock the waypoint — before heading down the path and grabbing that last Withering Purpurbloom.
