Four new weapons are coming toGenshin Impactin Version 5.2, with one of them being available to all players who complete the update’s Flagship Event. While ascending characters and leveling up artifacts are essential to building a good team inGenshin Impact, the effect of equipping the right weapon shouldn’t be understated. Some 5-Star weapons can provide up to 88.2% CRIT DMG all by their lonesome, allowing certain characters to reach their optimal builds with far greater ease.
On top of that, SignatureWeapons inGenshin Impactoften provide tailor-fit bonuses to their assigned character, though this rarely stops them from being powerful options for other characters as well. Polearms such as Engulfing Lightning and the Staff of Homa are desired by more than just the Raiden Shogun or Hu Tao.Genshin Impactis set to introduce a similar type of Signature Weapon in Version 5.2.
While the stats were made known to players ahead of time,Genshin Impacthas published an overviewof all four weapons coming in Version 5.2. First among them is the Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, the Signature Weapon ofChasca inGenshin Impact. In order for players to get the most out of the 5-Star Bow, it needs to be equipped by an Anemo character to trigger the Swirl reaction. That being said, its overall bonuses are worth considering for other Bow characters, such as Ganyu, who rely on Charged Attacks to deal the bulk of their damage.

While the Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage is meant to be the best option for Chasca, Flower-Wreathed Feathers is a great consolation prize for players who get unluckypulling the Weapon Banner inGenshin Impact. On the other hand, Kokomi would greatly benefit from having the Waveriding Whirl in mono Hydro teams. Lastly, the Calamity of Eshu should be a powerful alternative to characters that rely on Normal and Charged Attacks such as Keqing.
Unlike the other three weapons outlined in the overview, the Calamity of Eshu can be obtained for free via the Flagship Event for Version 5.2. Visually speaking, it is themed around the Masters of the Night-Wind and its bonus strongly implies thatCitlali inGenshin Impactwill be some manner of Shield Support. While it remains to be seen which Natlan character is intended to wield the Calamity of Eshu, players already speculate that the Pyro Traveler will get plenty of mileage from the weapon in the near future. Version 5.2 is expected to launch on Jun 21, 2025.
