Ororon is not only the first tall male Electro character, but also the first male off-fielder in quite some time. His ability kit can best be compared to Fischl, as Ororon’s Elemental Burst summons a totem that deals continuous Electro damage (while taunting nearby enemies). On the other hand,Chasca inGenshin Impactis the first true Rainbow character, capable of dealing several types of Elemental Damage directly from her ability kit.
As revealed by the officialGenshin Impactaccount on Twitter, both new characters are slated to appear in the first half of the Event Banners, alongside Lyney, Sucrose, and Barbara. However, thanks to datamining and the process of elimination, the rest of the 4-Stars can safely be guessed. The second half of Version 5.2 will be headlined by Neuvillette and Zhongli, with Shikanoin Heizou, Yao Yao, and Fischl accompanying them. This effectively reveals the fullEvent Banners for Version 5.2 ofGenshin Impactwell ahead of time, allowing players to plan out their spending wisely.
Genshin Impact: Banner Characters for Version 5.2
While Lyney and Chasca make for a powerfulWeapon Banner inGenshin Impact, veteran players may not exactly be thrilled to find Barbara on the Event Banners. Not only is the idol of Mondstadt available through the Masterless Starglitter shop, but she has been a steady regular on the Event Banners since launch. On the other hand, Shikanoin Heizou should be welcomed by just about everyone, as the 4-Star from Inazuma hasn’t been featured since Version 3.7.
Curiously, this marks the first time thatLyney will feature onGenshin Impact’s Event Banners without his sister, as Lynette will likely be held back until Arlecchino’s rerun in 2025. While Ororon remains the most desirable 4-Star character in the entire lineup,Genshin Impactplayers will benefit from Fischl and her Constellations, especially if they come attached with two of the most popularGenshin Impactcharacters. Version 5.2 is set to launch on Aug 03, 2025.
