AGenshin Impactleak has revealed important details about two Natlan characters, Mavuika and Citlali. Since the arrival of the new major region,Genshin Impacthas introduced a number of Natlan characters, most of whom are expected to join the playable roster in the foreseeable future.

A credible leaker named hxg_diluc has reaffirmed rumors thatGenshin ImpactVersion 5.3will feature two additional characters: Mavuika and Citlali. Based on HoYoverse’s usual schedule, Travelers can expect update 5.3 to launch around July 20, 2025. As the Pyro Archon, Mavuika has been one of the most anticipated characters in the community since her introduction. She has already appeared in the main storyline on multiple occasions and has been portrayed as a powerful character willing to do whatever it takes to protect the people of Natlan.
Genshin Impact: Mavuika and Citlali Leaks Explained
Regarding Mavuika’s playstyle, besides being a Pyro user, in-game cutscenes have revealed that she wields a claymore. Like the previously released Archons, Mavuika is expected to be a versatile Pyro unit capable of fitting various playstyles. Her kit will most likely include the Nightsoul system, a mechanic exclusive toGenshin Impact’s Natlan characters.
Citlali was also featured in one of the first Natlan teasers. She has been introduced as a mysterious fortune-teller belonging to the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Citlali’s in-game appearances have confirmed that she can wield Cryo elemental powers. Regarding her kit,earlierGenshin Impactleakshave suggested that Citlali will be a supportive unit capable of creating powerful shields with her Elemental Burst. The shield will reportedly absorb damage and heal when it expires.
The healing effect will scale with the amount of absorbed damage, making it a perfect asset when facingpowerfulGenshin Impactbosseswith one-shot potential. Citlali’s Elemental Skill will supposedly function similarly to Albedo’s Solar Isotoma. However, these kit leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, as players will need to wait for the 5.3 beta phase to obtain more reliable information about both characters' potential in combat.
