According to the leaks, the mini-game will play similarly to thePuyo Puyopuzzle games, with players able to either square off against AI opponents or against other users online. TheGenshin Impactmini-gamewill feature multiple playable characters, utilizing their stats and boasting unique skills to turn the tides of a match. The post does not clarify when the Lantern Rite update will release, though it is expected for early 2025.
Though HoYoverse has yet to officially reveal any characters coming in Version 5.3, one leaked roster member could suggest that Lantern Rite is soon at hand. Alongside the rumored release of Mavuika and Citlali, leaks have suggested that Version 5.3 will welcomeLan Yan as a new four-star character.
