Genshin Impacthas revealed all the characters that will appear in the upcoming Phase 2 banner cycle for update 5.2. Each update inGenshin Impactis divided into two phases, each featuring a separate Limited Character Banner that includes two five-star and three four-star characters.
The double-banner system allows players to pull for two five-star units simultaneously. The ongoing limited banner features the new Anemo user Chasca and the Fontaine magician Lyney. These banners also share a four-star lineup, consisting of three lower-rarity characters. While four-star characters have much lower drop rates, the odds are evenly distributed among the three featured units.
Players who wish to add Chasca or Lyney to their roster have only a few days left, as Phase 1 ofGenshin ImpactVersion 5.2 is scheduled to expire around December 10.Genshin Impact’s Special Program eventpreviously confirmed that the second part of the update will feature re-runs of two highly popular characters: Fontaine’s Hydro Dragon Neuvillette and Liyue’s leader, Zhongli, also known as the Geo Archon. An official announcement has confirmed that three four-star characters - Heizou, Fischl, and Yaoyao - will accompany Zhongli and Neuvillette on the upcoming Phase 2 banners for update 5.2.

Both Zhongli and Neuvillette are widely considered S-tier characters in their respective roles. Despite being part of the game since 2020, Zhongli remains the go-toGeo character for mostGenshin Impactplayers thanks to his versatile kit, which provides the strongest shield in the game while delivering significant AoE damage.
Since his release, Neuvillette has become the most powerful HydroDPS unit inGenshin Impact, boasting exceptional scaling and a unique playstyle centered around the Hydro Dragon’s Charged Attack. Similar to Zhongli, Fischl is also one of the game’s oldest characters. She remains an A-tier support or sub-DPS pick for team compositions requiring consistent Electro application. Fischl relies on her companion Oz, who continues dealing damage even after she is swapped out.
At the time of his release, Heizou was one of the most innovative characters in the game. Despite being a catalyst user, he excels in close combat. His status as an Anemo character makes him viable for various team compositions. Meanwhile, Yaoyao is a reliable Dendro healer, making her a solid pick for specific setups like theBurgeon teams inGenshin Impact.
