With numerous crossover skins released in the years since then, it’s possible to see entire armies of licensed characters battling it out inFortnite- to the point where observers might compare it to the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. This classic musical animation was created by Neil Cicierega in 2005 and depicted a massive battle between some of history andpop culture’s most iconic figures. The fight is first ignited by Godzilla and Batman in Tokyo, eventually engulfing numerous fictional characters and real-life people, with the final victor being the late, great Mister Rogers.
While Mister Rogers isn’t likely to be included inFortniteanytime soon, some fans are noticing that a lot of the participants of theUltimate Showdown of Ultimate Destinyare already in Epic’s multiplayer sandbox. Reddit user Hot_Profession144 pointed this out on r/FortNiteBR shortly after the announcement of Godzilla being added aspart ofFortniteChapter 6 Season 1. Once the King of the Monsters is brought toFortnite, there will be nine combatants from the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, including his original opponent Batman, basketball legend Shaq, Optimus Prime, Indiana Jones, the T-800 Terminator, Darth Vader, and Superman.

Of course, the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny featured many more famous characters and historical figures, so more participants may make their way intoFortniteeventually. Technically, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has already been added asFortnitecharacter The Foundation, and there have been rumors of other Ultimate Showdown combatants like the Power Rangers over the past few years.
One day, fans might actually be able to recreate the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny inFortnite, complete with the numerous other guest character skinslike the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesand Deadpool. In the meantime, the monster who started the legendary conflict back in 2005 will soon rampage the Island when Godzilla is added toFortniteas part of Chapter 6 Season 1.
