With Chapter 2 Remix coming to an end,Fortnitefans still have the highly-anticipated “Remix: The Finale” event to check out on November 30 before Chapter 6 is released on December 1, which will include a world premiere of a new Juice WRLD song, as well as appearances from Ice Spice, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg.
Fortnite Fans Think Mega City Is Returning in Chapter 6
While thenextFortnitelive eventis still a few days away, Epic has already begun teasing the game’s next Chapter. Over on Twitter, the studio has published a couple of different promotional images for Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters and fans believe one of the new pieces of keyart includes a reimagining of Mega City, a popular location that was present in the game’s Chapter 4 Season 2 update. While not everyone is convinced, some users think the POI is now being brought back but this time with accessible interiors, something that was not present when the location was first introduced.
Fans will likely continue to speculate on the location’s return for the next few days, but there are plenty of details surrounding the upcoming content update that have already been confirmed. After months of leaks and rumors, Epic has announced thatFortniteChapter 6 Season 1 will include collaborations with Godzillaand Big Hero 6’s Baymax. The latter of which continues Epic Games' collaboration with Disney, which has so far seen famous characters like The Incredibles, Captain Hook, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil all receive their very own in-game skins for players to purchase.
FortniteChapter 6 Season 1 will also see the return of the game’s OG game modefrom December 6. After becoming a smash hit back in 2023, bringing in over 44.7 million players with 102 million hours played in just a single day, Epic is bringing the mode back permanently. The mode will begin from Chapter 1 Season 1, with the original map and weapons all available, and is speculated to rotate between Chapter 1’s seasons each month.
