The new movement options have been shown off in a video attached to aTwitter post by FNAssist, a page that frequently publishesFortnitenews, leaks, and more. Although the video is brief, at only eight seconds long, that’s still enough time to showcase four of the new moves that players will be able to pull off. As detailed by the social media post, theheroes ofFortnitewill be able to pull off wall runs, wall kicks, launch jumping, and ground rolls once the Season 6 content launches, adding more ways of getting around and dodging enemy attacks.

New Movement Options Leaked for Fortnite Chapter 6

The leaked movement abilities seem to have players split down the middle, with some welcoming the changes and others upset with Epic Games' diversion from the classicFortniteformula. Players on both sides of the issue are pointing out how the new abilities will be most useful inFortnite’s Zero Buildgameplay, with their supporters happy for additional mobility options and detractors wishing that Epic would commit more resources to other game modes.

Both official trailers and independently dug-upleaks forFortniteChapter 6have revealed that it will be heavily inspired by feudal Japan, featuring skins and environments that meld the modern world with imagery more fitting of a more brightly colored 12th century Kyoto. Leaked points of interest in this new game world include a demon arena in which players can engage in battles against computer-controlled opponents and an industrial town featuring two massive towers belching out purple steam. In terms of other movement options, its expected that players will be able to make their characters go prone for the first time, as well as giving them the ability to swing on ropes and utilize a hook shot item, though it’s not clear if they will be added on December 1 or in later seasons.
