Epic Universe will be the third major park at Universal Orlando, joining Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. The new park will offer guests five new lands, including areas and attractions inspired by theHow To Train Your Dragonfranchise, Super Nintendo World, and theUniversal Classic Monsters. This will mark the first time in over a decade that a new park will be opened in Orlando, and it is sure to be exciting for fans of the Universal’s parks.
Universal Orlando Resort revealed new informationabout the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry attraction, including a new look at several details guests will find waiting for them. The Métro-Floo Corridor will help guests pass from Paris to the British Ministry of Magic through a unique mode of transportation inspired by the Floo Network. Throughout the Ministry Atrium, guests will be able to see an enchanted sky, the restored Fountain of Magical Brethern, and floor-to-ceiling offices. Guests will then pass the empty Ministry reception area and Dolores Umbridge’s former office, covered in her unforgettable pink hue. The ride vehicle will transport riders throughout the Ministry and will move in a variety of directions, including up, down, sideways, and backwards, similar to the ride vehicles of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Guests may even recognize several other familiar rooms on their tour through the Ministry, including the Time Room and the Magical Archives.

The attraction will follow Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they travel through the British Ministry of Magic for the trial of Dolores Umbridge, the infamous Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher fromHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.The setting is sometime after the events ofHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,transporting guests from the 1920s Paris setting of the outside area into the 1990s British Wizarding World. The area will bring theWizarding World of Harry Potter to Epic Universe, and will blend the original iconicHarry Potterfranchise with the newerFantastic Beastsworld, merging the two eras forHarry Potterfans in an immersive experience. Throughout the area, guests can experience a variety of entertaining offerings, including a display of fantastic beasts (a live show featuring performers, puppets, and special effects), interactive wand locations, and French-inspired cuisine at the Café L’air De La Sirène.
Epic Universe will officially openon Jul 21, 2025, along with three brand-new resort hotels. Ticket packages are now on sale on theUniversal Orlando websiteand further information will be announced as the opening day approaches.
