8Veilsong

The Veilsong is one of the first weapons mages obtain, and can also be bought from theVeil Jumper faction in Arlathan Forest. As this weapon evolves in quality, it unlocks more perks including the ability to gain health each time Rook performs a Takedown.
It also pairs well with the Death Caller’s passives which increase Stagger Damage, and since the more Stagger the players cause the more Takedowns they can perform, this will create a great healing loop during combat, ensuring their survival even during the toughest encounters.
7Fadelight
A Defensive Off-Hand, Good For Support Builds
Similar to the Veilsong, the Fadelight Orb is an Off Hand that focuses on support and healing, but instead of taking advantage of the Takedown mechanic, it empowers the Perfect Defense skill, healing each time players block incoming damage. This pairs nicely with the Return Fire Trait, which activates a powerful counter upon performing a perfect block.
On the other hand, Fadelight also improves damage against Health Bars, whichpairs nicely with the Necrosis Afflictionand most of the passives and debuffs the Death Caller causes with its spells, especiallyCorrupted Ground,which causes Necrosis and Weakening.

The Veilseeker is the optimal weapon for those Death Callers who have also invested in the Shadow Dragon Skill Branch,with powerful additional damage Perksthat empower Projectile effects and add extra elemental damage of various types to overwhelm the enemies' defense.
This staff is really fun to play, since it is one of the few weapons that causes all Elemental Type damages, and can pair nicely with several of the Mage’s Passive Skills and Traits, especially the Bolt Volley Trait, which duplicates the amount of projectiles this staff fires, turning it into a magical machine gun.
5Spiritcaller
Offers Extra Defense And Life Steal
The Spiritcaller Staff is for situational use, but it can become really good if players are building around the Support Death Caller which empowers allies and controls the battlefield with powerful AoE, generating primers for their companions to take advantage of.

This Unique Staff was found bysolving the Warden Vault puzzleon Sharksmouth Mount, in Rivain Coast. Its unique perks disable healing by Potions and Companions, but in return, all damage that comes from this weapon leaches a percentage of health. It also adds a bonus to life leech effectiveness, stackable with the Death Caller’s Invigorating Beam Trait and similar Passive Bonuses.
Players would think that this Staff puts them at disadvantage since it eliminates Potion Healing, but that’s where the Belt called Glorious Ultimatum comes into play, also found in the Rivain Coast by finishing the Dead Men Tell Some Tales Quest, granted by the Spirit of Adventure. This Belt turns all that healing from Potions into Ultimate Recovery, and once players use their Ultimate, they gain full health. Meredith’s Legacy does not disable this effect, so that’s a win-win for players looking to overoptimize.

A Unique Spellblade That Leeches Life From Afflicted Enemies
A great weapon to pair with a Necrosis Affliction build, which will constantly drain the life force of enemies affected by this affliction. And since Death Callers are masters of causing necrotic damage and this particular DoT effect, then they can create a perfect combo for a melee Death Caller build.
The point is one of the earliest Unique weapons players can find, and it is located in the Treviso Canals, in theStreet Coin Financial district. It is a considerably powerful weapon, that scales with Rook’s level, so players do not need to upgrade it constantly.
2Enchanted Athame
Empowers All Spells, At A Cost
Perfect for an all-or-nothing build, this weapon empowers all spells by 100%, but it nearly duplicates the cost of Mana each Ability has. But, since the weapon itself has a bunch of Mana recovery and Mana Boost Perks, the blow on the skill economy isn’t as hard as it seems.
A really powerful combo is to pair it with the Fade Conduit Perks, and with rings equipped with Mana Regeneration and Mana Generation. This way, players can practically nullify the Legendary Perk and enjoy a free +100% ability damage boost.
1Crystalline Shard
Empowers The Death Caller’s Anti-Barrier Effectiveness
Most enemies in the game have Barriers that block Elemental Damage, but for Death Callers who are specialized in overcoming Barrier thanks to Necrosis, this Spellblade adds a lot of powerful boosts that ensure they can constantly drain HP from Barrier enemies.
Its Legendary Perk is especially useful and will empower this effect even more against bosses which have the highest Barrier Pools in the game. Of course, this means that Death Callers will have to get close and personal to deliver powerful melee blows with their Orb and Spellblade, but the benefits overcompensate the risks by far.
