Disney Dreamlight Valleyis giving players a hint of what’s to come in the Star Path as part of the game’s next free patch. The update, titled Sew Delightful, is coming toDisney Dreamlight Valleyon December 4, and while fans of the game have already been given a sneak peek at the new character it brings, the accompanying Star Path will have a completely separate set of rewards.
The Nightmare Before Christmas’Sally is coming toDisney Dreamlight Valleyin the next free update, joining her together with her beau Jack Skellington, who joined the game’s roster in December 2023. As revealed during the game’s annual showcase in late October, Sally and Jack will be teaming up for a reunion, and the update’s title is clearly a reference to how the Halloween icon’s body is stitched together.
Much remains unknown about the Star Path coming with the update, but the game’s official Twitter page has given players some hints of what they’re likely to see with three groups of paired emojis. The three pairs are a snowflake and a fairy, a cloud with snow and a rabbit face, and an ice cube and chair. The wintry theme of all three pairings and the fairy in the first set fit well with the previously announced Star Path title of Frost & Fairies, which had also been announced at theDisney Dreamlight ValleyShowcase 2024.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Hints at Next Star Path Rewards
The cryptic message has a lot of fans making guesses as to what rewards they’ll be seeing in the new December update. Many are expecting thewinter Star Path rewardsto be literal translations of the emojis, such as a chair made of ice and rabbits made of snow. Several others are digging into the Disney Vault, in anticipation that the pairing of a fairy and a snowflake could be a reference to Periwinkle, Tinker Bell’s frost-talent-possessing twin sister, who appears in the animated moviesSecret of the WingsandThe Pirate Fairy.
The wintry theme of Frost & Fairies should appease fans of the game after a mixed reaction to the previous Star Path. Launched in early October,Disney Dreamlight Valley’s last Star Path left some players disappointedwith its rock music theme. Titled The Night Show and featuring rewards like Punk Princess Shoes and a Billboard in Lights, fans weren’t so much let down by the content itself but by the timing of its release, as many were hoping for Halloween content in addition to the game’s annual Trick or Treat festivities.
