Gameloft has released patch notes for the upcomingDisney Dreamlight Valley"Sew Delightful" update, which aims to fix several issues that accompanied the launch of theStorybook Valeexpansion pass. The Sew Delightful update will also introduce new content toDisney Dreamlight Valley, including the limited-time “Gift of Giving” holiday event.
Following the release oftheDisney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Valeexpansion pass, players began to report that their Moonstones and pre-order bonuses that were promised with the DLC’sMagical Editionwere not properly distributed. In addition, players encountered technical issues and other bugs while playingThe Storybook Vale’snew content, including dialogue that doesn’t trigger during the Archery and Archrivals quest. On November 25, theDisney Dreamlight Valleydevelopers addressed the player community about their reports and concerns, confirming an investigation was underway to find the causes of the game’s recent bugs. The developers also announced the new Sew Delightful update would remedy many of the issues on December 4.
Patch notes for theDisney Dreamlight ValleySew Delightful update were released on December 2, giving more insight into what’s to come on December 4. Firstly, the update brings a slew of new content, including quest giver Sally fromThe Nightmare Before Christmasandthe new Frost and Fairies Star Path. Players will be able to earn new rewards from Sally’s friendship quests and the new Star Path’s Free and Premium tracks, which include a Bonus Rewards tab with additional rewards like color variants. The Gift of Giving event returns inDisney Dreamlight Valleyalongside the new update as well. This time around, a new seasonal task lets players build a snowman and claim new seasonal rewards from the Christmas tree in the Dream Castle. New weekly rewards may be obtained by logging in, and Scrooge McDuck’s Store will have new items in stock, including some inspired byThe Lion King.
As promised,theDisney Dreamlight Valleydevelopers will implement numerous bug fixesbased on the issues players pointed out in recent weeks. The Sew Delightful update will fix progression blockers in the Archery and Archrivals, The Company of the Wolf, and A Tale of Stone and Fire quests, and several bug fixes will be applied to voice-overs, the Premium Shop, clothing, and other important aspects of the game. Gameloft notes that the update makes game optimizations as well, including texture fixes for the game’s iPad version.
It’s worth noting that the Sew Delightful update does not fix the issue pertaining toDisney Dreamlight ValleyMagical Edition’s Moonstones and cosmetic bonuses. An investigation into the issue is still underway, so the developers will most likely give fans a status update after the new Sew Delightful update is available.
