The development team at Gameloft had already teasedSally coming toDisney Dreamlight Valleyback in November, and with the arrival of the new update on December 4, she joins her bony beau Jack Skellington, who was the game’s big roster addition from this time a year ago.
Unlocking Sally inDisney Dreamlight Valleytakes some running around, as players will have to follow a trail of notes spread across locations like Anna’s castle and the houses of Remy, Mirabel, and Vanellope, where they will need to collect spider webs and bring them back to Jack. As shared on the game’sofficial news page, there are also a number of fan-driven new features coming with the update, including a new 16-point rotation for landscaping and furniture items. Additionally, the new Floating Islands area that appeared as inaccessible with the Storybook Vale update has finally been unlocked. The Floating Islands provide four large spaces for players to show off their decorating skills, and Merlin will have a special assignment that encourages players to design each area after a specific biome.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Frost & Fairies Star Path Rewards
The December update also brings with it some newDisney Dreamlight ValleyStar Path rewardsand activities. The newest star path includes 110 different duties for players to complete, which can earn them up to 1,810 tokens and seven different rewards. As teased by the game’s social media team in late November, these rewards include a Fairy Motif, a Frosty Rabbit Companion, and a Winter Crystal Chandelier, as well as an additional 100 Moonstones. Despite some fans' guesses, there’s no sign of Tinker Bell’s frost-talent-wielding twin sister Periwinkle, though the trailer does showcase an even more famous fairy in Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother.
Winter holiday festivities also return to the valley, as previewed by someDisney Dreamlight ValleySew Delightful patch notesfrom a few days ago. For the third consecutive year since the game’s early access release, The Gift of Giving is returning toDisney Dreamlight Valley, featuring the appearance of seasonal fish, wrapping paper, and, later in the month, a festive tree that gives out daily presents like furniture and clothing. This year’s event will also feature some new activities, like snowman-building.
