Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Sew Delightful updatewas launched on December 4. The newest update contains a lot of features, like adding Sally fromThe Nightmare Before Christmasto the character roster, bringing in the new Frost & Fairies Star Path with seven different wintry rewards, and the return of The Gift of Giving annual holiday event, which will net players some additional freebies later in the month.
With all that’s included in the end-of-the-year update, some players may have missed the announcement that the development team at Gameloft has also added the Brazilian Portuguese language option.Disney Dreamlight Valleyoriginally launched with language options for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, but for those who missed it in theDisney Dreamlight Valley Sew Delightfulpatch notes, the game’s social media team is now pointing out that players in Brazil have a new language option that’s geared specifically towards catering to their needs.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Introduces New Language Option
Adding new language options toDisney Dreamlight Valleyis no small task, since Gameloft is regularly adding more content, including new valley residents and quests associated with them. Since its Early Access launch in September 2022, the game has received 14 different free content updates, with six of them arriving over the course of the past year. In addition to all the free updates the game has seen across its lifespan, the new Brazilian Potruguese language option has also been coded in for theDisney Dreamlight Valley’s Storybook Valeand A Rift in Time paid expansion content. A Rift in Time was the game’s first paid expansion, releasing in early December 2023, while the much newer Storybook Vale released its first part in November 2024, with even more content planned for addition sometime over the summer of 2025.
While the new language addition seems to be a big hit among the game’s Brazilian fan base, not everything has gone perfectly for all players with the Sew Delightful update. A few players are complaining about the arrival of lagging issues while trying to complete theirFrost & Fairies Star Path duties, though it’s not clear which platforms these players are running the game on.
