Diablo 4’smid-season Season 6 Campfire Chatrevealed several buffs to all six classes that boosted their power and balance. Barbarians, Druids, Necromancers, Rogues, and Sorcerers received various skill and aspect improvements, while the new Spiritborn class got minor adjustments. Now, the developer has shared more class change details coming in patch 2.1.
AmongtheDiablo 4classchanges revealed in the patch 2.1 and Season 7 PTR Campfire Chat are damage boosts for Barbarians' abilities, such as Walking Arsenal and Hammer of the Ancients. Sorcerers will see major upgrades to key abilities such as Firebolt, Devouring Blaze, and Ball Lightning. Druids will get enhancements for their Werewolf form and some improvements to the Boulder and Wolf Companion skills. Rogues will receive a range of changes, including buffs to Shadow Clones that will also benefit Necromancer summons and Druid companions. Rogues will also get a new Unique item that adds Shadow effects to their Mobility Skills, and the Caltrops ability is being reworked to make it easier to use.
Diablo 4 Patch 2.1 Introduces Buffs and Quality-of-Life Improvements for All Classes
Diablo 4Necromancerswill also see improvements, gaining new Uniques that enhance their Blood Wave skill. Finally, Spiritborn, the newest class inDiablo 4, will get minor adjustments. These include a new Aspect that strengthens Razor Wings and bug fixes for mechanics that were previously a bit overpowered. Patch 2.1 also introduces significant upgrades to each class’s Ultimate Skills, with new bonuses unlocked at Rank 5 to enhance these abilities.
Moreover,existingDiablo 4Runes, such as Teb and Cir, are receiving updates, including redesigns to have larger potential overflow moments and cost reductions to allow them to overflow more frequently. In addition to changes introduced in patch 2.1, during the Campfire Chat it was revealed that Season 7 will bring new content, including the Witchcraft theme, where players will face Headrotten enemies that drop Restless Rot, a currency players can use to unlock special Witchcraft powers.
The PTR for patch 2.1 will be available starting December 3, allowing players to transfer their live characters over for testing. Season 7 content will be part of the testing, giving players the chance to share their feedback.
