Now, Blizzard has announced thatDiablo 2: Resurrected’s Ladder Season 9 is set to start on December 6 at 5 pm PST. Like previous seasons, the game mode will include four Ladders. One of them will be composed of only the four original acts ofDiablo 2, and one of the others will have the Lords of Destruction expansion added. Experienced gamers can also try the two Hardcore Ladders, which allow gamers to face the same challenges, but with a single life. As usual,characters from allDiablo 2: Resurrectedclassesare allowed, and all Ladder characters will be transferred to their respective non-ladder group when the next season starts.
Ladders were first introduced toDiablo 2: Resurrectedin 2022and were deemed as a fun, competitive game mode for gamers who can’t get enough of the popular action RPG. To participate in a Ladder, gamers have to create new characters, which will progress through the game as normal, and be compared with other players on a leaderboard based on how much experience they have earned. Each new season, the scoreboards reset, and gamers can compete once more.
Apart from the new season, Blizzard unveiledDiablo 2: Resurrected’s Patch 2.8.0 and announced that it will be out on December 3. The patch will only fix one bug and improve the interface, allowing Move Directions to be bindable. Despite the infrequent updates,Diablo 2was already one ofthe best action RPGs ever madein 2000, and it’s even better now withResurrected, especially for gamers who want to compete with their friends to see who has more mastery over the classic action role-playing game’s systems.

For those new to Ladder Seasons, you might be wondering what happens to your Shared Stash loot once the current season ends.
Once Ladder Season 8 ends, all Ladder characters will be transferred to their respective non-ladder group. All items in that character group’s Shared Stash go into a new Withdraw Only set of Shared Stash tabs, denoted by a check marked Past box.Any items from Ladder Season 7 stored in the Withdraw Only tabs will be lost at this time.You will have all of Ladder Season 9 to withdraw any items you would like to keep from Season 8. When Ladder Season 9 ends, this withdraw only set of Stash Tabs will be overridden with any items in the Ladder Season 8 Shared Stash. Be sure to get any items out before then or they will be forever lost!
