The other staff members include Maiko Okada, who is the animation producer. Yusuke Takeda is the art director, while Hirofumi Masuda is the special effects director. What Is YAIBA: Samurai Legend Remake About

YAIBA: Samurai Legend is based on Gosho Aoyama’s manga of the same name. The series was launched in Weekly Shonen Sunday in September 1988. It ran until 1993, and all the volumes were compiled into 24 volumes. YAIBA: Samurai Legend received an anime adaptation in 1993, and it had a total of 52 episodes. The anime was produced by Pastel.

YAIBA: Samurai Legend follows the story of Yaiba Kurogane, a young boy who is raised by his father in a forest. One day, he meets Takeshi Onimaru. The two engage in a duel, but it ends in a draw. Disappointed by the result, Onimaru leaves only to find a magical sword. Upon picking it up, Onimaru is overcome by malevolent forces. As a result, he decides to take over the world with a demonic army.
