Complete-Sun-9960’s Fox McCloud costume is centered around the recently addedDoki Doki Destiny Titan Helm, which is part of the “Doki Doki” line of armor ornaments added alongside Act 2 of Episode: Revenant. The Doki Doki ornaments are inspired by concepts often associated with romantic anime and manga and “magical girl” series. Colored with the Vanguard Nightbeam shader, the animal-like mien of the Doki Doki Destiny Titan Helm looks to all the world like a fox’s red-furred face.
The rest of the costume expertly recreates Fox McCloud’s military-themed outfit, reflecting his appearance inSuper Smash Bros. Brawl. The Ringwalker Plate from the Bungie 30th Anniversary celebration replicates Fox’s signature flight jacket, lending the normally bulky Titan class a low-profile look appropriate to a space pilot, accented by a bright red scarf. Fans even praised Complete-Sun-9960’s inclusion of a jumpship and Sparrow in the outfit ensemble, with the exotic Colonel’s Lament ship substituting for the Arwing, the ship from the original iconicStar Foxtitles.
