For many, the biggest piece of this update is that many overlooked and underused super abilities have been given a major boost, making roaming builds like Stormtrance more viable than ever before. However, the content train appears to be rolling right along as Bungie recently announced its plans for Iron Banner during this Episode.

In its weekly blog post, Bungie revealed its plans for the upcoming Iron Banner event forDestiny 2’s Episode Revenant. After aslight delay to Iron Banner’s arrival inDestiny 2, players can finally jump in on November 26, with Bungie confirming that the Control game mode would be included in the first instance of the activity. For now, Bungie hasn’t revealed what other game mode will be coming with the next appearance, though looking back on the previous episode, it’s likely to be Tribute.

Episode Revenant Iron Banner Rewards in Destiny 2

Natrually, with Iron Banner, players can expect to earn some new gear for taking part. With Episode Revenant, players can unlock a brand-new set of armor, known as Iron Intent. The Medieval-styled armor is joined by an all-new rocket-assisted pistol that uses Stasis-empowered ammo. The weapon will likely be a popular one, joining the ranks of otherpopularDestiny 2rocket sidearmslike Indebted Kindness, The Call, and Aberrant Action.

Communication from Bungie may be a bit more limited as the holiday season approaches, first with the US holiday Thanksgiving next week and then time off in December. As such, Bungie isn’t planning to hold a typical livestream for Act 3 which launches in January 2025, though during its previous streaming event, the devs gave fans a sneak peek at an upcomingexotic mission for Destiny 2 during Act 3. Players will get their hands on a new shotgun called Slayer’s Fang, which reloads with a void crystal and has slugs that burst into multiple rounds on impact.
