Epic Games has confirmed therumors thatFortniteOG is making a comebackon December 6. However, there will be some big differences this time around. For one,FortniteOG will be starting at theverybeginning this time, meaning Chapter 1: Season 1. Not only that, butFortniteOG is going to be apermanentaddition to the BR after it’s added on December 6. Presumably, the mode will cycle through the Chapter 1 seasons like the original iteration did, but there has yet to be clarification on that front.

When is Fortnite OG Coming Back?

WhenFortniteOG comes back on December 6, it will give players the chance to explore the original map with original loot. That means anyvaultedFortniteitemsfrom these seasons will be back in play. Players will also get the chance to revisit the OG points of interest, so classic locales like Pleasant Park, Loot Lake, Tomato Town, Retail Row, etc. Notably, one ofFortnite’s most popular POIs, Tilted Towers, likely won’t be in OG at first, as it wasn’t added to the game until Chapter 1 Season 2.

Old-schoolFortnitefans are likely enthusiastic about the chance to relive the battle royale’s glory days, especially since there’s no longer a time limit like the originalFortniteOG. Others may be more interested in new content, and those individuals don’t have to worry.Fortnitewill continue moving forwardwith proper new seasons with fresh layouts for the battle royale map, new items, and more.
