Like with the now-alive members of the Justice League of Green Lantern and the Flash, it’s revealed that the Justice Leaguers that players fought inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewere just DNA-altered clones, failed experiments of the original members of the Justice League that remain onboard Brainiac’s diabolical skull ship.
Considering the Flash and Green Lantern have been saved, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see Batman share a similar fate, in which it’s revealed that the Batman who took a bullet to the brain from Harley Quinn was a twisted clone and notthe real Batman that audiences love.
4An Escaped Dark Multiverse Batman
The Dark Multiverse Has Multiple Evil Batman Variants
In the current continuity of DC Comics, there exists the Dark Multiverse. It’s an inverse of the Multiverse that comic readers know and love, and it basically features twisted versions of iconic characters, most importantly, twisted versions of Batman. Within the Dark Multiverse, evil Batman variants feature quite frequently, with more famous grins like The Batman Who Laughs stealing the show.
With Brainiac’s meddling with the Multiverse, and his conquering of it, it would make for aninteresting story twistto reveal that the Batman within the game itself is a Dark Multiverse variant, working for Barbatos the Bat God under the guise of Brainiac. While unlikely, it could be a story beat that spills into a futureArkhamgame if it’s revealed that this killer Batman is an alternate.

There isn’t just one Lazarus Pit in the world, and Ra’s Al Ghul uses them to be reborn as the Demon’s Head and lead the League of Assassins to new heights. Ra’s Al Ghul has lived for hundreds of years, and despite his death inBatman: Arkham City, and the destruction of Wonder City’s Lazarus Pit, he stillcauses trouble inBatman: Arkham Knight’s Season of Infamy.
Considering how well-respected Batman is within the League of Assassins, and as the World’s Greatest Detective by Ra’s himself, it wouldn’t be a shocker to see Batman come back as a restored version of himself through the use of the Lazarus Pit. Although, stopping the Lazarus Pit’s madness might be another story altogether.

Black Lantern rings bring the dead back to life as zombies, but there are also the White Lantern rings, which return the dead to the living as their purest forms. With Earth in turmoil, it might be time for the Justice League torise as White Lanterns.

One character that hasfeatured heavily in easter eggsthroughout theBatman Arkhamseries is Zatanna, a magician and close friend of Bruce Wayne who has many shows sprout up throughout Gotham and Metropolis. She’s a true showman with her magical acts, but she also helps the Justice League deal with occult and dark magic.
Joining with John Constantine and other magical characters, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Justice League Dark come out of hiding and use their magical abilities and knowledge to resurrect Batman, especially since audiences know Zatanna exists in this universe.
