Where most main characters in the anime universe set out on great battles with powerful enemies, Dandadan, with its genre-defying plot, takes it to a whole different level, which is why it feels like a breath of fresh air in the recent anime scene.
The squad must look for a thief who apparently stole the family jewels from Okarun. During their adventure, they come face to face with ghosts, curses, andcrazy alienswhich make each second of the show much more interesting and a must-watch for anime fans.

Surprisingly, the series does a great job of executing some adrenaline-pumping action sequences that can evensurpass many shonen anime out there. After the duo fights Turbo Granny, Okarun realizes that he is missing his testicles, which are jokingly referred to as family jewels in the episode. It is also revealed that Turbo Granny returns and is now trapped inside a Maneki Neko doll.
