Foraging items are something you’ll be collecting in yourFields of Mistriaplaythrough to fill out the museum or to hand in for side quests. You’ll find most of them outside the mines, but items such as the Crystal Berries are mine-exclusive. InField of Mistria’s major update (Jun 10, 2025), there’s a new side quest you can grab called “Request for Crystal Berries” from Josephine. Crystal Berries can be farmed in any season, but you’ll need to reach the Deep Earth level of the mines in order to find them.
“Request for Crystal Berries” Walkthrough
How to Get and Complete
If you havethe 0.12.1 versionofFields of Mistria, then you can go into town and grab two new requests from the bulletin board. One of these is “Request for Crystal Berries” from Josephine, while the other is a Crown Request from Adeline. Since Crystal Berries are only located in the mines (Floors 40-59), you don’t have to worry about weather requirements or seasons changing. If you’ve been exploring the mines, then chances are you’ve already unlocked the Deep Earth floors.
Once you have the Crystal Berries, track down Josephine and deliver them. You’ll receive 250 Tesserae and 20 Renown as a reward. As of 0.12.1, your Town Rank now goes up to Emerald.
Where to Find Crystal Berries in Fields of Mistria
Deep Earth Floors in Mines
Crystal Berries appear as a bundle of pale purple glowing berries rooted in the ground. You just need to approach them and press E-key to gather them. You will want to search fromfloors 41-59for Crystal Berries, and you may have better lucksearching Floor 50-59. There’s no way to trigger the spawn rate of Crystal Berries, so you’ll need to explore the full length of whichever floor you’re on in the Deep Earth section.
You can adjust your In-Game Screen Display to 1x or 2x to zoom-out of your surroundings. To do this, open the menu and select the gear/settings tab. Select Display andchange your screen display.
Crystal Berries are a part of the Deep Earth collection in the Flora Wing of the museum in The Narrows. You can also sell them for 20 Tesserae. However, untilFields of Mistriareleases more floors in the mines, you may want to store the Crystal Berries, as they may be required for the Fire Seal.
