As theDark Elixir Eventhas officially ended in Supercell’sClash Royale,another weekly event has rolled out: the Snowball Evolution Draft. Unlike the previous ones, you’ll need to choose your event cards from two given options (more on that later). The event runs for a limited time, fromDecember 2 to December 9.
In the Snowball Evolution Draft, you’ll unlock an evolution for the Giant Snowball. Using it can help you defeat enemies faster in the arena. This event introduces two game modes: 1v1 and 2v2. The first mode allows solo play, while the second lets you team up for multiplayer battles. On top of all the fun, you’ll also get to participate in an Evo Snowball Draft challenge fromDecember 6 to December 9. How To Play The Snowball Evolution Draft In Clash Royale
The Snowball Evolution Draft offers anevent and challengeinClash Royale,both of which are played in the same way. The only difference is that winning in the challenge rewards players with a specialBanner Decoration, while the event gives youseasonal tokens. After entering this event or challenge, players are given 30 seconds to select four cards from a pre-made deck. During each selection, two cards will appear on the screen: one you’ll pick for your own deck, while the other is assigned to your opponent.
In other words, you’ll choose four cards for your deck and give four to your opponent, and they’ll do the same. TheGiant Snowball Evolutioncard won’t automatically be given to both players. Instead, one player will have the opportunity to select itfrom two evolved cardsduring the deck selection process.
The Giant Snowball Evolution card is part of the latest Season 66 Cozy Clashmas update. When summoned in the battle, it can wrap enemies and pull them back by four tiles. It has the same damage stats as the regular two-elixir Giant Snowball, but once evolved, it slows troop speed and moves them back —whether they’re big troops likeGiant,P.E.K.K.A, andElixir Golem, or smaller ones likeMusketeer,Goblins, andValkyrie. To activate the Giant Snowball Evolution, you’ll need to play it twice in the arena.
How To Win The Snowball Evolution Draft In Clash Royale
As you already know, your deck in the Snowball Evolution Draft event or challenge will be pre-made, so your card choices are limited. The Evolved Giant Snowball is a spell card with a special status in this event. To win,create a balanced teamwith both attackers and defenders.
If you get the option to choose an evolved card, go for the Giant Snowball unless the alternative is incredibly strong. Being the seasonal special card, it’s likely to have an advantage in battles. For common cards, Barbarians, Skeleton Dragons, Archers, Firecracker, and Royal Giant are solid picks. IfLegendary or Championcards pop up, ensure to grab them. GreatEpic options include Witch, Electro Dragon, Dark Prince, Prince, and P.E.K.K.A. For Rare cards, Battle Healer, Valkyrie, Mini P.E.K.K.A., and Zappies make excellent attackers.
The best strategy for the Snowball Evolution Draft Event or Evo Snowball Draft Challenge is to use spells to damage enemy towers or groups of troops. Place your attackers upfront and have at least onetower-focused trooptargeting one of the enemy’s bases. Defend where you must. When deploying the Giant Snowball, back it up with strong attackers to push enemies away from your towers. If your opponent has an Evolved Giant Snowball inClash Royale, counter it with Monk, as its evolution ability won’t work on him when protected.
