Chasca is a unique Anemo DPS inGenshin Impact. What makes her different from all other Anemo units is her ability to deal multiple elemental DMG and being able to trigger most elemental reactions on her own. It’s worth noting thatother Anemo users are capableof triggering elemental reactions through their Swirls, but not as effective as Chasca since she shoots the needed elements and triggers their reactions.
Of course, with every great ability, there are great limitations, and Chasca’s mechanics are no different. In order to make the most of what she can offer, you have to team Chasca with the correct characters who will give her the elements she needs while increasing the team’s DPS in general.
4Chasca + Layla + Shenhe + Bennett
Pairing Layla and Shenhe in Chasca’s team triggers the Cryo Resonance, which gives the team an extra 15% Crit Rate against enemies affected by Cryo. This creates a chance to stack more Crit DMG on Chasca since she also gets a 40% Crit Rate from her Artifact set. When Chasca is paired with Cryo, Pyro, Hydro, and Electro units, she will load four shots of her gun with these elements when you use her Charge ATK during her Elemental Skill state.
Having twoCryo units inGenshin Impactalongside Bennett helps Chasca trigger more Melt DMG with her Elemental Skill. Whether it’s a Melt or a Reverse Melt depends on Chasca’s RNG when loading her weapon, although that’s not important as long as Chasca is triggering those Melt reactions. What’s important is setting up Chasca with three Supports who will buff her DPS, since Layla, Shenhe, and Bennett, all have buffs in their kit other than their other Supportive utilities.

3Chasca + Shenhe + Furina + Bennett
Having Chasca teaming with Shenhe, Furina, and Bennett gives her a trio of thebest Supports inGenshin Impact. Shenhe greatly increases her Cryo DMG as she shreds enemies’ resistance to Cryo and gives Chasca 15% extra Charged ATK DMG. On the other hand, Furina is one of the best buffers inGenshin Impactbecause of her Elemental Burst, which will give Chasca an insane amount of extra DMG. Moreover, Furina is a decent Sub-DPS with her Hydro summons that can deal some good off-field DMG. Finally, Bennett is always going to be an amazing buffer because of his raw ATK buff that takes Chasca’s DMG to the next level.
With all these buffs and Chasca’s ability to hit all three elements from her gun, she will be an unstoppable force that creates chaos based on the RNG of her shots. Chasca will either Freeze, Melt, or Vaporize enemies, or maybe do all three on every Charged ATK.
2Chasca + Xiangling + Furina + Bennett
Xiangling is a character who has existed since the game’s release. Yet, she’s still one of thebest Pyro units inGenshin Impact. She’s not only a good Sub-DPS, but can also buff Chasca’s Pyro DMG, reduce enemies' Pyro resistance, and grant Chasca a small ATK% buff from Guoba.
With Xiangling and Furina constantly applying their elements alongside Chasca’s elemental bullets, the team will keep triggering Vaporize reactions with high numbers, especiallybecause of Bennett and Furina’s buffs. Not to mention, having two Pyro units in the team will increase everyone’s ATK by 25%.
1Chasca + Sara + Ororon + Furina
Taking advantage of Melt andVaporize can be fun, but Chasca can still operate outside these reactions. Giving the team of Chasca, Furina, and Ororon will allow them to trigger many Electro-Charged reactions with their off-field DPS.
As for Sara, she’s there to trigger the Electro Resonance and help the team regenerate their Elemental Burst faster with her Elemental Skill.Kujou Sara is also an amazing Supportwho specializes in buffing ATK and maximizing the Electro DMG of a unit in her team, which is Chasca in this case.
