All Modes In Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 1

WarzoneSeason 1 allows players to dive into three modes:Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Plunder. While some of these were part of the core game from the beginning, others were introduced later and have become fan favorites ever since.

Battle Royale

Warzone’s primary mode remainsBattle Royale, where120 playerscompete to be the last player (or team) standing. Adding a twist to the classic format, players who die can fight their way back into the game through a 1v1 duel in the Gulag. WithBlack Ops 6’s integration, players will now have access to new weapons and theOmnimovement system, providing additional tools and mobility for strategic advantage.

Resurgence

Resurgencemode pits44 players(or 45 in Trios) against each other in a battle to be the last team standing. Unlike in Battle Royale, players can respawnas long as one teammate survives while a countdown timer runs. To shorten this respawn timer, players can complete various in-game tasks like eliminating enemies, opening crates, and completing Contracts, allowing theirsquadmates to return to the fight even faster.

Plunder

Plunderis the go-to mode for players looking to quickly level up weapons and operators, offering nonstop action. The objective is to collect as much cash as possible before the timer runs out; whoever amasses the most is crowned the winner. In this mode, all equipment —including custom loadouts— is readily available, andvictory goes to the most efficient team.

Ranked Play

Ranked Playreturns to the big Battle Royale map with Season 1’s mid-season update, offering competitive players a chance to showcase their skills by outsmarting andoutlasting opponents to earn exclusive rewards. This mode features specific rules to ensure fair competition, sticking closely to the standard Battle Royale rules.

All Maps In Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1

InWarzoneSeason 1, players can explore three maps across different modes:Urzikstan,Rebirth Island, and the brand-newArea 99. Rebirth Island and Area 99 will feature Resurgence mode, while Urzikstan will be dedicated to Battle Royale. Rebirth Island will be limited to Quads, whereas Area 99 will support all team sizes — similar to Urzikstan’s Battle Royale.

Rebirth Island

The fan-favoriteRebirth Islandmakes a return followingBlack Ops 6’s integration, bringing back its iconic points of interest. Similar to Urzikstan, the map has received several updates, including the permanent addition of a Submarine POI, increased Redeploy Drones, and updated Biometric Scanner and Weapon Trade Station rewards. These adjustments, along with all other changes introduced in the Battle Royale map, keep Rebirth Island fresh and engaging for players.

Area 99

Warzone introduces a brand-new Resurgence map,Area 99, inspired by the long-standing history of Nuketown. This mapoffers 10 new points of interestfor players to explore and is designed with a classicBlack Opsatmosphere. Similar in size to Rebirth Island, Area 99 encourages frequent engagements and provides a range of elevation levels for dynamic gameplay.

Urzikstan

Urzikstanwill remainWarzone’s “big map” for Battle Royale, keeping its original points of interest intact— so Popov Power Plant won’t be destroyed, and Atlas Superstore won’t be added. However, players can expect several enhancements, including improved vehicle handling, new dirtbikes,Black Ops 6ground loot, andupgraded lighting and visual effects.
