Warzone Level Reset, Explained

As part of the Season 1 update, the level of allWarzoneplayers will reset toLevel 1which may be frustrating to those that have climbed to the highest rank. The change is due to the integration of the Prestige system which makes its debut in the battle royale.

For those who have already been playingBlack Ops 6, their level from multiplayer and Zombies will transfer over toWarzonealongside any weapon progression earned by using the fresh arsenal of weaponry. ThePrestigesystem has never featured inWarzonesince its launch. Players will climb the ranks to Level 55 and receive the option to Prestige which locks all items and resets the level back to one once again.

Does Weapon Level Reset?

Warzoneweapon levelwill not resetwhenBlack Ops 6integrates into the game. This means players will have access to all of their weapons fromModern Warfare 2andModern Warfare 3and their respective unlocks ready to use For those who’ve yet to playBlack Ops 6, levels on the 33 weapons arriving will be at Level 1.

Once unlocked and leveled up, their weapon progression also carries across to multiplayer and Zombies so there’s no need to unlock everything twice.

Does Black Ops 6 Level Reset?

The level earned inBlack Ops 6will not reset. Season 1 will see theWarzonelevel reset as it moves away from theModern Warfare 3formula and adopts Treyarch’s progression system to align with the rest of the franchise.

In recent years, the start of a newCall of Dutyseason has seen the levels reset to coincide with a new season or a new maximum to reach. Instead, all ten Prestiges are available inWarzoneand each season won’t see a level increase.
