Twitter user thund3rCOD shared a clip of the new XM4 Gumball Ballistics Mastercraft in action, showing off the weapon’s incredibly unique design as well as its in-depth animations. The clip shows the XM4’s third inspect animation, which sees the player open multiple portals with the weapon before throwing a utensil through one of them. The tool comes back with what appears to be an apple on the end, and the player takes a bite. The look of the XM4 is loud and colorful enough, but the weapon’s inspection animations are what have kept fans talking since it was revealed as part ofBlack Ops 6’s season 1 content update.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Releases New XM4 Mastercraft
The XM4 Mastercraft is part of the I.D.E.A.D. bundle, which also includes other Mastercraft weapons, a few customization items, and, of course, a new Operator skin. The skin, titled Repairman, fits the Weaver operator and includes numerous callbacks to theCall of Duty Zombiesfranchise, ranging from tiny Easter eggs to references to past maps.
Zombies has been a big part of theCall of Dutybrand, especially for Treyarch, and remains a cornerstone of theBlack Ops 6experience as well. Two newround-based maps were included inBlack Ops 6’s launch, Terminus and Liberty Falls, both of which have received glowing positive reviews from players. Plenty more Zombies content is on the way, withCall of Duty: Black Ops 6receiving another new round-based map called Citadelle Des Morts during the game’s season 1 cycle.
