Gamers will encounter a variety of unique enemy types inBlack Ops 6' Zombies mode. Among these are the Vermin, grotesque arachnid-like creatures that are new to theCall of Dutyseries. Vermin can spawn in normal rounds, but they have become the main enemy type of theMax Ammo waves inBlack Ops 6as well. The latter change has attracted criticism from some players, as it has apparently affected the length of Zombies rounds.
In a post on theCall of DutyZombies subreddit, user AydenF123 said that Vermin rounds inBlack Ops 6take way too long to finish. Players cannot camp in a corner to speed up the combat, as this method will still take a lot of time to execute and result in a kick, according to AydenF123. Activision’s 2024 entry features an anti-AFK system thatkicks players out ofBlack Ops 6Zombies gamesfor inactivity. However, this has apparently targeted people who were simply exploring the game’s two initial Zombies maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus.

Another user pointed out that some have resorted to using thenew save feature inBlack Ops 6’s Zombies modeto get a normal wave instead of a Vermin round.
To improve the latestCall of Dutyexperience, one Reddit user suggested for Vermin rounds to have a time limit of around 10 minutes. Spawn rates for Manglers, anotherspecial zombie type inBlack Ops 6, should be halved as well to make fighting more fun, the community member added.
