There has been somecontroversy surroundingBlack Ops 6’s inclusion of legacy XP tokens.Treyarch explained that at the beginning of Season 1, a bug in the game’s UI enabled the activation of legacy tokens. Although players enjoyed having the option available, using legacy XP tokens whileBlack Ops 6was in this state led to stability issues, so the option was removed. The newest patch enables proper support for legacy XP tokens.
The new update makes good on Treyarch’s promise to rectify issues with legacy XP token support and also improves the game’s stability. Hitmarker UI has been updated to simplify identifying individual shots, and a weapon sight alignment issue for Weaver’s Repairman Operator skin has been resolved. An issue forvarious camos inBlack Ops 6has been fixed, in which camos from previous games would be applied toBlack Ops 6weapons, likely an issue related to many of the newestCall of Dutytitles using the same general launcher.
