Therewards available inBlack Ops 6’s Hit List eventwere split between individual and community items, with players having the opportunity to earn a new calling card, loading screen, emblem, and a melee weapon by earning between 100 and 1,000 eliminations. The community side of the event was a much more daunting task, with the first reward, which was a new Buffer Weight Stock attachment, requiring 8 billion eliminations from the community. Black Ops 6 Players Unlock New Sirin 9mm Weapon
Fans were initially doubtful that it would be possible to reach 50 billion eliminations before December 5 rolled around, butBlack Ops 6players have successfully unlocked the Sirin 9mmspecial weapon. At first glance, the Sirin 9mm could easily be confused for an SMG, but this is actually a special weapon that can be attached in the secondary slot of a player’s loadout. Unfortunately, the community’s initial reaction to the weapon has been pretty lackluster, so don’t expect the Sirin 9mm to become the new meta inBlack Ops 6orWarzoneanytime soon, unless Treyarch or Raven opts to buff the weapon in a future update.
With the Hit List event now completed, all players can check out the Sirin 9mm, but it’s not the first time that the weapon has been made available. Shortly after the event began, Activision sparked yet another controversy after including theSirin 9mm as part of a paid bundle inBlack Ops 6andWarzone. This meant that despite still being locked as the final reward in the Hit List event, players could pay to unlock a weapon blueprint and use the gun early, which many believed defeated the point of the event.
While the latestCall of Dutyevent has officially ended, there is another one right around the corner. As part ofBlack Ops 6andWarzone’s Season 1 Reloaded update, which will be released on December 5, a new Merry Mayhem event will kick off in Zombies, multiplayer, andWarzone. The event will run until December 19 and will once again allow players to unlock a new perk, weapon, and more.
