Summary
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6players are calling out the shooter’s problematic scoreboard, insisting that it “punishes” players who play the objective by placing them at the bottom of the leaderboard, even if the player has the highest objective score. While there are plenty of players who jump into a match of Hardpoint or Domination, for example, to actually play the objective, the community is getting sick ofBlack Ops 6players simply looking to rack up as many kills as possible in objective modes.
There’s no denying that accumulating a bunch of kills in a single match is a great way to earn plenty of XP, but playing objective-based modes such as Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, or Domination, is undeniably one of the best ways toearn thousands of XP inBlack Ops 6. Unfortunately, much of the community sees game modes like the ones previously mentioned as an easy way to rack up more kills, mainly due to the length of time that these modes go on for. But players who actually battle for the objective and want to win the match have had enough, and they believe it’s timeCall of Dutyincentivized playing the objective.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Point Out Glaring Issue With Scoreboard
Over on Reddit, user DefNotLumberjack is calling outBlack Ops 6for punishing those who play the objective. The user has then attached an image from a game of Domination where they appear at the bottom of the leaderboard, despite having the highest objective score out of everyone on the team. While thisBlack Ops 6player doesn’t have a huge amount of kills, which is why they are at the bottom of the scoreboard, many believe having the highest objective score shouldn’t just place you at the top, it should also come with an added benefit.
In response to the post, Reddit user Yourfavflava said thatBlack Ops 6should reward playersby giving a bonus to the player with the highest objective score, as a way to incentivize others to play the mode for its intended purpose. Others noted that those who do not play the objective are actively leaving others at a disadvantage. “I’ve never experienced a [Call of Duty] with such low awareness teammates, I have to watch all 360 degrees because I get killed by people 3 feet from my team,“one usersaid.
Although playing the objective as a solo player can be irritating, there are ways to make it worth the hassle. Making use ofBlack Ops 6’s Strategist Combat Specialty, for example, is a surefire way to earn a plethora of XP for capturing zones in Hardpoint, collecting dog tags in Kill Confirmed, or holding down areas in Domination. If players equip three green perks, such as Flak Jacket, Dispatcher, and Quartermaster, for example, they will be able to earn bonus score when playing the objective, making those stressful games a little more worthwhile.
