Summary

ACall of Duty: Black Ops 6player has made a monumental achievement after reaching Prestige 1 without getting a single kill in almost twenty hours' worth of multiplayer matches. While it might seem like an impossibility to reach such a high level without killing a single opponent, there are multiple modes inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6that allow players to rack up thousands of XP by simply playing the objective, such as Hardpoint or Kill Confirmed.

The release ofBlack Ops 6back in October saw thereturn ofCall of Dutys' classic Prestige system, a welcome feature after being somewhat absent in recent years. Although players could still Prestige in titles such as 2023’sModern Warfare 3, it didn’t quite operate in the same way that classic titles did. Thankfully, developer Treyarch Studios has taken the series back to its roots, allowing players to reach level 55 before choosing whether or not to Prestige and reset all of their earned weapons and items. While any leveled-up weapons will remain as such, they will all be locked until the player works their way through the rankings once more.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Hits Prestige 1 With No Kills

With a plethora oflucrative Prestige rewards available inBlack Ops 6, players have been making the most of the recent Double XP weekend to work their way through the rankings as quickly as possible. However, one player appears to be in no rush, as they’ve spent almost twenty hours grinding their way to Prestige 1 without getting a single kill. Over on Reddit, user Pilgore1 showed off their impressive feat, saying “Pacifism will always be a legitimate strategy.” An accompanying screenshot then shows the user’s impressive 1.92 win/loss ratio with 0 eliminations and over 2,300 deaths.

The user’s screenshot shows that they’ve mostly played Hardpoint and Domination, two of the best modes to earnquick XP inBlack Ops 6. So, while the user hasn’t been getting any of the XP from eliminations, they have been racking up plenty of score by playing the objective. Players looking to pull off the same thing can also make use ofBlack Ops 6’s Strategist Combat Specialty, which awards extra XP when using three of the game’s green perks, such as Flak Jacket, Dispatcher, or Quartermaster.

Interestingly enough, when the user was quizzed on what their lobbies were like due to having a 0 kill/death ratio, they revealed thatCall of Duty’s controversial skill-based matchmaking featuredidn’t put them in “bot” lobbies, as many expected it would. This is likely due to the player’s impressive 1.92 win/loss ratio.
