Summary
ACall of Duty: Black Ops 6player has noticed a fatal flaw with the new Prop Hunt game mode, which allows Hunters to kill each other in certain situations. The Hunters inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Prop Hunt are supposed to work together, making this slightly against the spirit of the game.
Prop Hunt was added toCall of Duty:Black Ops 6in a recent update, bringing the classic party game mode back to the series for the first time since 2020’sBlack Ops Cold War. In an environment where just about everyBlack Ops 6match is extremely competitive, Prop Hunt represents a fun change of pace where players can relax for a while. However, the launch hasn’t been perfect.Players have some problems withCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Prop Hunt, but given how receptive Treyarch has been to feedback for the game at this early stage, it’s fair to suggest many of these issues will be fixed going forward.
Redditor PlaintiveTech40 shared a video from one of their recent Prop Hunt matches while playing on theCall of Duty: Black Ops 6map, Payback. While the Props are hiding and the Hunters wait in spawn, PlaintiveTech40 figured out that by shooting the car in spawn, it can still blow up, killing any player unfortunate enough to be stood next to it before the round has even started. Once the round has started, the Hunters can’t shoot each other, making this a little against the spirit of the game. It would definitely be frustrating to be left out of the round entirely like this, so hopefully it’s something Treyarch can fix.
Hunters Can Kill Each Other in Black Ops 6 Prop Hunt
Right now, thisCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Prop Huntexploit seems to be exclusive to Payback. But theoretically, if any future map added to the game were to have a similar destructible object near the Hunters' spawn, it would also be possible there, too. As annoying as it would be to be the victim of this, there’s no denying that it’s a little bit funny to watch.
Season 1 ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6is well underway, and the game’s ongoing cycle of new content is only just getting started. A recent leak has suggested that the classicSharpshooter game mode is coming toBlack Ops 6, which is sure to be good news for players who enjoyed it back inBlack Ops 1and2many years ago. Hopefully, Treyarch can soon confirm the return of Sharpshooter, with nothing official as of yet.
