How Does Harvesting Work in Brotato

How Does Harvesting Work In Brotato?

Harvesting is an interesting stat. It becomes a little less effectiveat the latter stages of a run, but it can have a great impact at the start if properly utilized. At the start, getting 20, 30, or even 50 material/XP is a massive boon, considering the amount of material collected during each wave is between 50 and 100. If the player gets their Harvesting stat high enough at the start, they can start raking in the big bucks, letting themprogress faster, kill more enemies, and ultimately collect more materialfor future waves. It creates a positive loop that feeds itself, but it hasdiminishing returns past wave 10.

If the player opts to go past wave 20 and start endless mode, the harvesting stat starts to decrease instead of increase, ending up with 0 by the 25th wave. If the player gets a negative value for the Harvesting stat, they will lose that amount of XP and material. This loss cannot result in the loss of a level.

How Does Elemental Damage Work in Brotato

How Does Elemental Damage Work In Brotato?

Elemental Damage is one of the few direct damage-affecting stats in the game, making it supremely important for players needing a helping hand when dealing with enemies. It is important to note that this particular brand of damageonly affects weapons that have the Elemental tag, such as the Wand, the Icicle, and the Fireball, etc.

Increasing Elemental Damage willdirectly increase the damage output of all weaponswith the Elemental tag. Additionally, if the weapons apply aburn status, the damage done by the burn scales directly with Elemental Damage.

If you don’t have any weapons that have the Elemental tag, it is perfectly safe to take items that reduce the Elemental Damage stat, as the negative numbers from this statonly have an effect on Elemental weapons.
