Summary
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6fans are once again bashing the game’s multiplayer maps, this time calling out Babylon for having the “worst spawn point inCall of Dutyhistory.” AlthoughBlack Ops 6has been a massive success for both Activision and Treyarch Studios, one of the most common complaints from the shooter’s player base revolves around the lackluster multiplayer maps.
The latestCall of Dutytitle has been developed by Treyarch, the studio behind some of the series' biggest entries, such asBlack Ops 2,World at War, and many more. While many of the studio’s previous titles have featured iconic multiplayer maps like Raid, Nuketown, Standoff, Firing Range, Summit, and many more,Black Ops 6’s multiplayer mapshave been heavily criticized by the community for their poor designs and awful spawn points.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Blast Babylon’s Spawn Point
ThroughoutCall of Duty’s twenty-one-year history, spawn points in multiplayer have become a reoccurring topic of conversation. However, fans are now blastingBlack Ops 6’s Babylon mapas having one of the worst spawn points inCall of Dutyhistory, which is a strong stance to take given that there have been over twenty mainline entries in the series. In a new post on Reddit, user Moppyploppy circled the map’s controversial spawn point, which often sees players trapped in, saying that it is the worst in the series' history.
While plenty of players gravitate toward Stakeout, which is undoubtedlythe most popular multiplayer map inBlack Ops 6, others attempt to find less chaotic games by queuing up for playlists that include all of the game’s available maps. Although Babylon is larger in size than Stakeout, getting trapped in one of the game’s spawn points can result in back-to-back deaths. Reddit userRelevant_Elk_9176agreed with the original poster, stating, “They really need to change it, make it smaller like the other side,” whileBloodstarvedhuntersaid they have “never agreed with a post more.”
Players have made it abundantly clear that they’re not fans of many of the game’s maps, but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost. As part ofBlack Ops 6’s Season 1 update, Treyarch added three new maps to the game’s rotation: Extraction, Heirloom, and Hideout. Although they likely won’t become fan favorites anytime soon, they were received much better thanBlack Ops 6’s launch maps. Thankfully, there’s still more to come, as a remasteredBlack Ops 4map is set to arrive with the shooter’s mid-season update, which is speculated to be released later this month but has yet to be confirmed by either Activision or Treyarch.
