Wonder Weapons are an essential part of the charm forCall of Duty Zombies, and inBlack Ops 6, the potential is high for the return of some of the best Wonder Weapons out there. With so many maps and so many Wonder Weapons, there is an abundance of desire to see some of the finest of them feature inBlack Ops 6with revamped graphics and power.
Black Ops 6shouldn’t be shy about embracing its classic identity with the round-based mode making a return to form. Some of the best Wonder Weapons arefrom older mapsthat definitely deserve a new day in the sun, but there are some Wonder Weapons that would make for a grand return inBlack Ops 6.
The Wunderwaffe DG-2 has already featured inBlack Ops 6with the Liberty Falls intro cutscene with Edward Richtofen, but it’s not a weapon that players can get their hands on just yet. The Wunderwaffe DG-2 isone of the coolestand most efficient weapons thanks to its ability to chain lightning damage from one zombie to the next.
Considering this weapon’s power, it screams for action inBlack Ops 6, as the great capacity for hordes far exceeds previous games, and to see them all die in an electrified union thanks to the Wunderwaffe DG-2 would be a blast that everyone should seek.
The Thundergun is a classic weapon that debuted on a classic map. Every veteran ofCall of Duty Zombiesknows of Kino Der Toten, and those more familiar with their Wonder Weapons will know of the beloved Thundergun. The Thundergun is a brilliant weapon, capable of annihilating hordes of enemies with a single blast.
The limited ammunition of the Thundergun is only fair, considering it has absurdly high damage that can blast enemies back to their graves with ease. It’s more of a shotgun weapon due to how close-range players need to fire it, but even then, it’s essential for high rounds, and seeing it in action forBlack Ops 6would be a grand time.
The 31-79 JGb215 has a rather complicated name, and the community often just dubs it the Shrink Ray or Baby Gun for how when fired, it will turn all zombies hit with it into adorable flesh-eating babies that can be kicked when players run into them. It’s one of the more fun weapons, but it shouldn’t be underestimated.
The 31-79 JGb215 is exclusive to Shangri-La, and it would be nice to see something powerful and goofy return to the battlefield. The idea of shrinking thearmy of Manglersthat spawns would definitely make them less intimidating, and far more funny to laugh at before kicking them for a field goal.
The Wave Gun is extremely special for its ability to cause a wave of zombies to inflate and explode like balloons overfilled with air. It’s funny to use, and extremely effective on extremely high rounds for how devastating it is. Even better is the dual-wield variant of the Zap Guns, which permits dual-wielded power from both halves of the Wave Gun.
In its Wave Gun mode, it’s like a streamlined Thunder Gun, but in its Zap Gun mode, it’s just an awesome dual-wield set of Wonder Weapon pistols. This is a great weapon that onlyfeatures on the Moon map, so it would be nice to see a weapon so sci-fi and goofy as this feature again.
The Ray Gun Mark 2 is a touch-up on the beloved Ray Gun. It’s a classic that needs no introduction, and those who have used it know of its great power. The Ray Gun Mark 2 doesn’t have the deadly splash damage of the original, and its three-round burst fire makes easy work of zombie hordes. It would be great to see how easily it takes out Amalgams and Manglers.
The Ray Gun Mark 2 is too good to be forgotten (that line is stolen from Richtofen) and with its high power and 3-round burst, it’s a weapon that demands attention. There is great potential with the Ray Gun Mark 2, especially ifBlack Ops 6includes secret ways to upgrade it like in Alpha Omega.
The Elemental Staffs are a pivotal moment inCall of Duty Zombieshistory, and they are forever engrained and immortalized in the stories of Primis. Considering how beloved Primis is, why not bring back their most triumphant Wonder Weapons, and to perhaps the fullest power by providing not just the Maxis-manufactured ones, but the ones with the elemental stones themselves?
The Elemental Staffsharbor incredible power, and the ones featured in Origins are some of the most fun out there. Upgrading the staffs provides a deadly melee strike, an ability to revive, and a powerful shot that can devastate zombies so easily, so this is definitely a weapon that demands a return.
Wrath of the Ancients is the essential Wonder Weaponin Der Eisendrachethat players can make their own. The Wrath of the Ancients is a lot of fun, and it’s great to see a medieval weapon such as this feature in a Zombies map. Something so simple and elegant like a bow is definitely missing from theBlack Ops 6loot pool.
The Wrath of the Ancientsalso features mighty upgrades, where players can harness the powers of the Void, Lightning, Wind, and Fire. Being able to fire an abundance of great elemental energy in an explosive-tipped arrow is as wondrous as it gets.
